Question 1

What is Track Engineer and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

Track Engineer is an AI-powered setup advisor for Assetto Corsa. You connect your own AI API key (OpenAI, DeepSeek or Claude), upload your telemetry file (.CSV or .LD), and the tool analyses your driving style to generate a personalised car setup with concrete values for suspension, aero, tyres, brakes and gearing.

Question 2

Is ApexSimApps a subscription service?

Accepted Answer

No. Both Track Engineer and SimRacing Planner PRO are one-time payments with no recurring fees. Track Engineer costs €19.90 and SimRacing Planner PRO costs €12.00. You own the software permanently.

Question 3

Which AI providers does Track Engineer support?

Accepted Answer

Track Engineer supports OpenAI (GPT-4), DeepSeek, and Anthropic Claude. You connect your own API key, so you control which model you use and the associated costs.

Question 4

Does Track Engineer work with Assetto Corsa mods?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Track Engineer works with any car in Assetto Corsa, including modded cars, as long as you have telemetry data from that car. The AI analyses your driving inputs and lap data, not the car's internal game files.

Question 5

What does SimRacing Planner PRO do?

Accepted Answer

SimRacing Planner PRO is a fully automatic race strategy calculator for Assetto Corsa. It calculates the optimal pit stop strategy, per-stint lap times accounting for fuel mass effect, pit-lane loss time, rain scenarios and lets you compare strategies with interactive charts.

Question 6

Is there a refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Yes. ApexSimApps offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on both products. If you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
